A Commitment to Education
At independence, the government of Kenya identified ignorance, alongside disease and poverty, as one of the three maladies afflicting society. Recognizing education as a powerful tool of transformation, the church has made establishing schools one of its top priorities.
The church seeks to collaborate with all stakeholders to enhance the administrative structures of existing sponsored schools and establish new institutions. A key role is to jealously guard the spiritual nourishment in all sponsored schools, understanding that full-time chaplains can make a significant impact on the lives of students and staff.
