AGC recognizes the fact that children are a gift from God therefore important in the kingdom of God and that Christ died for them to redeem them from their sins. The Children’s Ministry is a dynamic and integral part of the total church program whose aim is Christ centered. We desire to lead children into a personal dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ, equip the child to grow and to serve Christ and His people because ministry is with children not just to children but with children. We encourage teachers to be open minded so that they can also learn from children. 

We want the child to understand that Jesus Christ is an integral part of his/her life as he/she grows “in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and Man (Luke 2:42): All programming is designed to encourage growth in these four areas.

We provide a safe, positive, nurturing and age appropriate learning materials,facilities and environment This is carried out in Children’s Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, Bible clubs, Children rallies among other appropriate ministries.

Effective, efficient and teachers with servant hood positive attitude who are role models with various spiritual gifts are an integral component of our ministry. These teachers are trained, and equipped with relevant materials to be creative, innovative and in touch with the children, their families and do outreach with children to their communities.
